Pet AI Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("user") and Pet AI, the operator of the App ("we", "us", "our").

Note: These terms are specific to the Pet AI application. For Alesta's general terms of use, please refer to the Alesta Terms of Use. Pet AI is a digital product operated under a brand name by an independent developer. It does not represent a registered legal company.

1. Purpose

By accessing or using Pet AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Pet AI application.

The App provides AI-generated insights based on pet images (e.g., breed detection, wellness suggestions).

2. Eligibility

• Use is restricted to individuals aged 18 or older or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
• Minors may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian

3. Access & Authentication

• No registration with email or name is required
• An anonymous UID is generated via Google
• Users can manage or delete their pet-related data at any time
• Due to the anonymous nature, full account deletion is not possible

4. Acceptable Use

You agree:

• To upload only pet-related content
• Not to upload illegal, harmful, or abusive material
• Not to tamper with, misuse, or reverse-engineer the App

We may restrict access if these Terms are violated.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• The App may offer optional subscriptions (weekly/monthly)
• Managed through App Store / Google Play
• Credits are App-specific and non-refundable

6. AI & Data Processing

• Images are processed via external cloud AI
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI results
• For medical concerns, consult a qualified professional

7. Consent for Health-Related Inference

By using the App, you:

• Understand that some outputs may be health-related
• Consent to processing this data for informational purposes
• Accept that this consent is logged with your UID

8. Intellectual Property

• All content in the App (text, design, software, logos) is protected by copyright or license
• No part of the App may be reused, redistributed, or copied without express written permission

9. Third-Party Terms

Use of the App is also subject to the terms of:

• Google

The services provided by Pet AI are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Please review their policies accordingly.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content, including pet photos and videos, that you upload to Pet AI. By using our services, you grant Pet AI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is", without warranties
• We are not responsible for reliance on AI outputs
• We are not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages

11. Changes & Termination

• We may update these Terms or modify/discontinue the App at any time
• You will be notified of significant changes via the App or website
• Violation of Terms may result in access being revoked

12. Governing Law

Pet AI and Alesta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Pet AI service. These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
